Product Development: Clarity Communication Center Version 3 Almost Ready

The 3.0 version of the Clarity Communication Center is set to launch in late summer. Using new telephony hardware, it promises even more flexibility than the current version. True to the motto “all good things come in threes”, the refinements refer primarily to the conferencing functionalities, predictive dialling module and the context-related telephone display.

 

The Clarity Communication Center combines the telephony infrastructure of a contact centre or a corporate switchboard on a single software-based platform and serves as the high-powered foundation for the integrated voice communication solutions for Clarity call centre and business telephony.

 

The expanded conferencing functionalities mean that the moderator and participants in a telephone conference can now be issued with different authorisations and that “access” to the virtual conference room can be secured by means of PIN authentication. An acoustic signal that always sounds when a participant enters (or leaves) the conference provides additional protection against unwanted listeners.

 

Calls to other extensions or reroutes can now also be signalled directly on the telephone terminal, on keys with context-related functions. This creates clarity on the user’s screen and makes the TC system user-friendlier.

 

The Predictive Dialling module has been optimised further for customers using the Clarity Call Center Edition and the Clarity Dialer Edition to maximise agent utilisation on outbound campaigns. And last but not least, the import and export of address data has also been expanded. Both are instrumental in significantly enhancing call centre productivity and process efficiency.
