Availability – a competitive advantage: you are always reachable with Clarity

Clarity Call Center Edition is now available with a fully automatic dialer

Fire brigades and emergency services have long yearned for such a function. Clarity is now offering its customers the Clarity Call Center Edition with a new, optional function: the fully automatic dialer allows you to call a whole battery of telephone numbers at the same time, using as many lines as you like. The caller can also play audio files and activate language menus with the help of the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Target groups for this new function include fire brigades, emergency services or chemical companies who need to inform a large number of contacts about a current incident very quickly.

Increase your outbound efficiency: Clarity presents the optimized predictive dialer

There are dialing computers – and there are predictive dialers: quick dialing saves time and facilitates the work of a call agent. However, it only becomes exciting and interesting from an economic point of view with an intelligent predictive dialer. Clarity AG has once more come up with a number of interesting ideas for its module in order to improve the utilization of call center capacities. Tried and test options have however be maintained: the Clarity predictive dialer goes through its list while the agents are making their calls; it is capable of both fax and answering machine recognition and eliminates engaged numbers or numbers which can not be reached.

According to Christoph Pfeiffer, chairman of the executive board of Clarity, the number of contacts which are forwarded by the recently optimized predictive dialer has been increased by further 10%, a real competitive advantage for call centers. A newer, more complex algorithm uses statistical values to determine when and to whom the next caller will be forwarded. And if a caller should be on the line before an agent can accept the call, an announcement is played or – depending on the requirements of the customer – the call is dropped. The latter should obviously only occur in rare cases as the person being called could consider this harassment – the dialing behavior can therefore be individually configured in line with the address quality and campaign requirements, therefore enabling optimum results to be achieved.

New survey: savings potential of 30% with regards to telecommunications costs


When Mrs. Smith’s housekeeping allowance is insufficient, she starts to keep an account of income and expenditure, compares offers and cuts unnecessary costs. If companies would follow a similar strategy with regards to their telecommunications costs, they could reduce their expenditure by a whopping 30 percent. This was the result of a recent study by the Aberdeen Group. Complex telecommunication is obviously much more sophisticated than housekeeping. It encompasses a diverse range of areas including facility insurance, expenditure on data security, service, personnel costs and much more. The analysis is however worthwhile, when taking the high costs related to company communications into consideration:

  • Creation of a centralised inventory of corporate assets, services and software
  • The involvement of various departments at the executive level
  • Technological tools for telecom contract negotiations and enforcement
  • Automated billing, invoice reconciliation, exception reporting and dispute resolution capabilities
  • A consistent workflow to move personal cell phones to corporate accounts
