Clarity Business Client combines Messenger and Telephony Functions in one Application
Clarity Business Client shows status / availability of all colleagues / SMS-integration / Business Client makes cryptic key combinations unnecessary: calls, call forwarding, conferences via a mouse click / features of the Business Client allow use as a switchboard / clear and individually configurable menus
Already for a longer time, Clarity has been offering by the Business Edition an effective telecommunication system for business telephony.
“The most important strength of this system is its software-based character. Thus, telecommunication and IT merge into one product world, and making calls becomes only one among many applications”, explains Christoph Pfeiffer, CEO of Clarity AG. Now, Clarity has upgraded the Business Edition by another useful application, the Business Client. The Business Client combines all functions of a messenger and telephony functions in one application.
Business Client offers Messenger Functions
As it is known to many users of standard messengers, the Business Client shows who of the employees in a company is available at all or who is, for example, on the phone. “A simple click on the symbol for another contact person is enough for the Client to start the call”, Christoph Pfeiffer illustrates. Hereby it is irrelevant whether an office phone or a so called soft phone on the PC is used. The Clarity Business Edition including the Client can handle all kinds of phones. The Client also supports SMS if an appropriate SMS server exists.
Seamless Integration of Telephony Functions
Yet, above all, the core of the Clarity Business Client is the seamless integration of telephony functions. By a mouse click, any employee can start not only phone calls but also call forwarding or conferences. “Thus, cryptic key combinations on the phone are part of the past.” Christoph Pfeiffer explains. The fact that the tool uses the contacts of the employees from the e-mail programs comes in very handy.
New Filing Functions
Via the Business Client calls on the mail box can be listened to at any time. For that purpose, the tool refers to a filing function which up to now many users knew from their Internet browser. Thus, the user can inspect all telephone processes like, for example, all incoming and outgoing calls. The Clarity tool also includes a system for call recording. Via this system, safety-sensitive calls can be filed and accessed in the archive at any time.
Business Client can be used as Switchboard
Thanks to the mentioned functions, the Client can even be used as switchboard. Via the Business Client, the responsible employees can recognize at first sight what colleagues are at their desks and ready to take the call of a customer, for example. So you do not need several attempts to track a contact person down by phone, and normally the customers reach their contact person at once.
Adjustments according to the user’s request
„When designing the tool, we also attached great importance to user-friendliness.” Pfeiffer explains. The result: Any user can adapt the tool at his own discretion, starting from the choice of colors up to the individual placement of the buttons.
